Prior to joining USClaims, Donna Lee Jones was a Partner at Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky, P.C. in Philadelphia, where she obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of personal injury clients. She handled all types of complex civil litigation cases including medical malpractice, civil rights, products liability, premises liability, bad faith and motor vehicle cases. In 2008, she was named one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly. She was a Board Member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA), Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAAJ) and The Lawyers Club of Philadelphia. While in active practice, she was also a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ).

Jones served as an adjunct faculty member in the LLM in Trial Advocacy Program at Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, and as a court-appointed judge pro tem and mediator in complex litigation cases. She has testified as a legal malpractice expert witness and gave numerous lectures on legal issues and trial strategy in complex civil litigation. In addition to a juris doctorate from Rutgers-Camden University School of Law, she also has an LLM in Trial Advocacy from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, where she was awarded the Faculty Award for demonstrating outstanding achievement in courtroom presentation and performance. She resides in Delray Beach, FL and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Ms. Levy began her career with Peachtree Settlement Funding and, with a Certificate of Professional Achievement from the Executive Development program at Kellogg Executive Education, offers a well-rounded perspective and valuable insight.

Ms. Berlingeri brings over 20 years’ experience as an attorney specializing in commercial and intellectual property litigation as well as counseling in various areas of contract and commercial law. She was previously a partner at Holland & Knight, LLP and has an LLM degree from Harvard Law School, a J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico, and an A.B. from Amherst College.

Prior to DRB Financial Solutions, Mr. Shey served as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley where he spent 10 years in various roles. Mr. Shey brings in-depth knowledge and expertise in financial audits and reporting, risk management, strategic financial planning, modeling, and analysis. He graduated from The Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Mr. Irvin brings strategic and tactical expertise including e-commerce, online marketing, branding, customer experience/acquisition/retention at scale, and reputation management. He spent 16 years building and leading marketing and e-commerce for 1-800-PetMeds before entering the field of specialty finance. Mr. Irvin is a contributor and speaker for several media, marketing, and advertising industry resources and his education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Minor in Linguistics from Liberty University.

Prior to being named to this position, Rudy served for 12 years as General Counsel and Director of Underwriter Claims, where he headed the Legal Department and developed strategies for the review and underwriting of case submissions. Before joining USClaims, Rudy was an associate for a general practice firm specializing in personal injury claims, and for a small boutique firm representing injured railroad and maritime workers in FELA and Jones Act claims. He received an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, was certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Rudy has been invited to give lectures on the ethics of litigation funding by various attorney groups, including the Philadelphia Bench Bar. During his more than 20 year career in private practice, Rudy has managed over 20 jury trials to verdict, and secured multimillion dollar verdicts for an injured bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle, a railroad worker injured by the negligence of his employer, and a longshoreman injured while working dockside. A graduate of Georgetown University and the Dickinson School of Law, Rudy now resides in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and enjoys exercise, reading, sports, and spending time with his family.

Todd Bass
Director

Todd Bass, Director, is an experienced pre-settlement funding industry veteran. Prior to joining USClaims, Todd held a variety of leadership roles over the years, including as a Director at Peachtree Financial’s pre-settlement division. His team handled business development (focused on attorneys and brokers) and working with plaintiffs (and their attorneys) who were trying to obtain cash advances. Todd brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the USClaims team.
